Movie Streaming a brand new concept

In the old days we would rent a movie and bring it home to watch, but now this is the age of multimedia which  comes in so many forms today supported by the growth of information and broadcasting technology. It has become a necessary part of our lives and a very important way of our entertainment. In the earlier days we can watch TV shows, game shows, sports on TV but now thanks to  this revolution in technologies we can watch these  on our computer or laptop too. But now a day’s everybody is talking about video streaming, movie streaming and all, so what is this streaming?

If I answer this question in the simplest way then I have to say that, streaming media is a multimedia that is continuously presented and received by an end-user while it’s delivered by a streaming provider that means Streaming technology is used to transfer data over the Internet in a continuous stream. Applications can display data before the entire file has been transmitted. It is a delivery method to the medium not the medium itself. The distinction is usually applied to media that are distributed over telecom networks, as most other delivery systems are either naturally streaming (e.g., radio, television) or naturally non-streaming (e.g., books, video cassettes, audio CDs). Internet television is the most common streamed medium.

Then what is movie streaming? We know what is streaming, right? So if we know what is streaming then we can say that, with movie streaming a web user does not have to wait for downloading the movie to play it. Instead of it, the media (movie) is sent in a continuous stream of data and is played as it arrives, what the user needs is a player, which is a special program that decompresses and sends video data to the display and audio data to speakers. A player can be either an in-built part of a browser or can be downloaded from the software maker’s Web site. By movie streaming we can watch our favorite movies on our computer and in upcoming future, on our TV, via the internet. We can pause, rewind, or fast forward as we wish; now the movie comes to our home directly. Now we don’t have to wait for hours to download a movie, we can watch them any time we want, and that is why the concept of movie streaming is so popular in these days.

In our day to day life we often come across the word “social networking”. We hear this word so much that it has become a part of our life now. But what is this social networking? Well I can’t define the term but can say, it‘s the new way of communication of the 21st century, it is kind of a new way of connecting of an individual person to a specific group or many groups. Through social networking an individual person can connect to  the whole world if he or she wants to. Social networking is now a  very popular online activity especially among the youth.

Internet is used by millions of individuals who are looking to meet other people, want to chat with them, or to gather and share first-hand information and experiences about, housing, films, sports, developing friendships or professional alliances, finding job, business marketing and not only this but we can also find groups sharing information about almost everything. We can find countless groups having discussion on countless topics and any one can join any group or community. There are different kinds of social networking sites like those which focuses on a particular interest and also many sites focusing  on various subjects.The websites without any particular focus are often referred to as “traditional”social networking sites and these have an open membership.

In online social networking, the websites we commonly use are  known as social sites. This websites work like an online community of internet users. Many of these online community members share common interests in hobbies, religion, or politics, jobs, institutions. But before anyone can begin to socialize, their request to access to a social networking website must be granted. This socialization can include watching the profile pages of other members and even contacting them if possible. Through this social networking we can make friends with different people from different countries and thus we can gather some information about other cultures, religions and languages.

We can join as many sites as we wish but the most popular social networking sites are My Space, Friend Finder, Yahoo! 360, Face book, Orkut. But like in real life, danger also exists with social networking, most prominent of them are data theft and viruses and much more. The most rampant danger online is predators or individuals who claim to be someone that they are not. By being aware of our cyber security issues we could safely enjoy social networking online.

Is Google Plus going to be as popular as Facebook?

Social networking websites are bringing our friends closer than ever before. Facebook, the most famous website for social networking, was established in February, 2004. By July 2011, Facebook registered more than 750 million users. No other websites have yet been able to reach that height.

However, our very familiar Google’s new approach towards social networking, Google+, which released on June 28, 2011, is taking a high. In a very short duration of around five weeks, Google+ reached 25 million users, the number which Facebook, a few years back, reached after around 3 years of struggle and experiment.

Google+ has combined all the best features from other social networks and tries hard not to attempt their mistakes. With respect to Facebook, Google+ is in many ways alike, like its photo and video sharing features, games etc. However, the dissimilarity lies where the privacy issues of Face book are concerned. The other distinctive feature about Google+ is the ability to divide your contacts into separate groups, or circles as they are called. It also helps you to share selectively in an easy way.

For using Google+, one needs to have a Google account such as Gmail to log in. Presently, Google+ members have 150 invites to give out. But in case of Facebook, one needs to get registered with an email account not specifically any Google or yahoo mail account.

Facebook is the most successful social network in the internet history. Beating a networking website which has a backing of 750 million users is not an easy task. But one must not forget that, Google has around billions of users, alone Gmail has over 200 million users, and in a short span of little more than a month Google+ reached 25 million users.

With all this, it is quite clear that Google+ really has the potential to be a serious competitor of Facebook. At this stage it is very difficult to predict that in the future who is going to be more popular, Facebook or Google+, as social networking finally works on peoples’ psychology.

Making cards can be a wonderful hobby as well as a source of income for a family. It is easy and interesting to make cards which have quite a good demand in the market. And if you are not interested in turning this hobby into a business, you can always make one to give it to any special person.

If you ever come across a handmade card, you will be forced to think about making one of your own. It is very easy and cheap too. It is also a very good way to spend time with your family by making up ideas together.

Though it is cheap, making handmade cards have many benefits. The joy that a person gets when you give him or her handmade card could never be compared with a purchased card. It makes your recipient feel special. A personal touch that cannot be felt with a purchased card in your hand.

For making a handmade card, you need some simple raw materials like paper, scissor, glue, pencil and colors. If you want to add a grand touch,then you can also experiment with sparkles, different color threads or ribbons also. Once you are into it, you will be able to make progress very easily.

If you are not very good with paper and pencil, you can even design your cards on your computer. Just install a designing software and design your card. When your designing is complete, simply print it in a paper and you can have your own handmade card. Go ahead and try it. Its easy enough and interesting too.

Computer game review:Warhammer 40,000:Space Marine

Relic entertainment has produced yet another masterpiece for the gaming freaks in the warhammer series. The warhammer 40,000:Space Marine is a sure hit for you if you are a gaming freak. The game, released for windows, Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 is a third person game.

Titus is the character you play. You will be accompanied by other people also. While performing executions you can get back a portion of your health. The game starts with some default weapons like the combat knife and the bolt pistol.

This whole incident occurs in a parallel universe known as The Wrap. In this game, you are allowed to reach limitless powers so that you can slow down time. The Orks and the Forces of Chaos must be fought by the main antagonists.

The graphics of the game is breathtaking, and so is the concept. If you try this game, you will be amazed at how realistic it feels when you play the game. The parallel universe concept may take some time to understand, but you will get used to it.

If you are a person who likes multi player gaming options, there are two options for you too. One is the simple cooperative mood like in all the other games. Another is an 8 vs. 8 class based competitive mood.

So in any case, Warhammer 40,000:Space Marine is certainly worth a try.

One cannot exist without the other if the business is to undergo any degree of success. The tried and true methods of keeping the associates happy and willing to continue their commitment to the organization can work a few times, but the shine can wear off quickly if the entertainment is the usual drinks, dinner, and a DJ year after year. No one will be writing in their diary or adding photos to their scrapbook when the annual corporate event becomes tiresome and predictable. The talk around the water cooler after the annual conference can change from the usual gossip and rumblings about workplace doldrums to all the fun that was had this year, and guessing about what fun can be had at the next event.
